The Forecasters You Trust
FORECAST UPDATED TUESDAY 12/5
A nice warm up is on the way for Chicagoland late this week! Highs will be well into the 50s Thursday and Friday, which would be nearly 15 to 20 degrees above the normal highs for this time in December. The big story this week will be our impending storm system for this coming week. The potential exists for a decent snow accumulation, but timing and location of the potential snow is still VERY MUCH unknown as of this writing. The storm in question is still way up near the Gulf of Alaska in the Pacific ocean. Our ground network of sensors is not properly reading the storm since it’s offshore. Due to this, model data greatly varies and is not reliable yet. By Thursday, we should start to see some consensus. Stay tuned. I will have a snow map on here once I feel I have enough data for a proper analysis.
What happened to the hyper-local link? That was the most helpful since weather is different all over the city. Thx!
